Greg James’s ‘daffodils’ joke was made so much funnier when M&S didn’t get it
Here’s Radio 1 breakfast DJ Greg James sharing on Twitter just how unhappy he was with the daffodils he bought from Marks & Spencer.

Now if you noticed something’s not quite right with the photo – and not just the fact they haven’t ‘bloomed’ – then you’d be entirely correct.
Except the Marks & Spencer social media person who took the time to respond, well, they said this.
This is disappointing from us, Greg so I'm really sorry. I'll let our Flower team know and if you can return your receipt or the packaging to store on your next visit then we can refund or replace them for you. Thanks, Donna.
