This Irish MEP threw some epic shade at the House of Commons after Brexiters wouldn’t keep quiet
Here’s Irish MEP Mairead McGuinness throwing some epic shade at the House of Commons after a particularly persistent heckler just wouldn’t shut up during this session at the European Parliament.
Eurosceptic Independent MEP David Coburn could be heard interrupted proceedings several occasions and, shouting ‘Auf wiedersehen!’ as German MEP Elmar Brok finished talking.
Here’s what McGuinness, who is Vice President of the European Parliament, had to say about that.

A round of applause that was fully deserved.
It is horrendous. Much as I can't help but enjoy John Bercow as Speaker, the HoC is farcical and needs modernisation. New, less confrontational design in a modern building & PR might help create an environment for serious. Let's leave this Hogwarts joke behind.

If the parade of Brexiteer louts displayed the tiniest fraction of good sense and class demonstrated of late by Irish women such as Mairead McGuinness and Claire Byrne, we would all be so much better off.

Mairead showing dignity and composure in the face of such ignorant and abhorrent behaviour. The actions and words of such women have given me hope recently in the midst of such dark times 💪🏻
