Nigel Farage being dismantled on Irish TV is a very satisfying watch
Here’s Nigel Farage taking time out from appearing on Question Time to talk to Irish TV presenter, Claire Byrne, and a very satisfying watch it is too.

More of this sort of thing over here would be a very welcome thing, please.
Nice to see an interview that doesn’t just take what Farage says as gospel and challenges him, correcting these falsehoods that are otherwise left uncontested in Britain.

My thoughts exactly, he looked a bit shocked when he was stopped and corrected with facts. Some broadcasters could learn a lot.

Makes ardent point. Ardent point called out as lie. Dismisses ardent point as meaningless . Have I got that right?

Well in fairness, Ireland has benefited more in its 46 year EU membership than the 700 years when we were part of the British Empire

He was allowed a complete freebie at the end there – unless he got another caning after the clip ended?

Well at the end, at least, he was presenting an opinion, which while dunderheaded, he's entitled to.
He was hauled up, twice, when he started stating factually incorrect info. If all journalists *just* did that, we'd be in a better place.

To conclude …
Nigel Farage’s bluster taken apart on TV. In Ireland. https://t.co/wzmlmIio8b
