This question about tricky spellings went viral because we’ve all got one we’ll never get right
No matter how good you are at spelling – we’re not very good at spelling – there is always, it seems, one word that you can never get right no matter how many times you look it up.
It’s a thought that occurred to a chap called Declan Cashin. And not only did he have it, he shared it on Twitter.
What’s a word that you always struggle to spell, no matter how many times you have to look it up or rely on spellcheck? Mine is “deodorant”

And it prompted all sorts of replies, some (many) of which might strike a chord with you. Or is it cord?
Anyway, here are our pick of the words people struggle with (along with the occasional solution).

If you think that “necessary” has one collar (one “C”) and two sleeves (two “S”s). “Un” is the negative prefix, so stick that on the front of “necessary”. Voilà!
