Watch Boris Johnson claim he may know more about the car industry than the CEO of Jaguar Land Rover
Outrageous claims by Brexit-supporting politicians are certainly no rarity – let us never forget that bus or the fact that Liam Fox predicted the Brexit deal would be the “easiest in human history”. However, it seems odd that they haven’t learnt to temper their outrageous claims, like this one from Boris Johnson:
With Jaguar Land Rover’s CEO Ralf Speth predicting the loss of tens of thousands of motor manufacturing jobs after Brexit, the issue of who’s correct is pretty important. Johnson’s remarks have drawn plenty of unfriendly fire.
Boris Johnson on @lbc – condemned like a Buster Gonadian Sisyphus to roll the giant bollocks of Brexit up and down the airwaves for all eternity.

The UK week gets off to its by now traditional start with politicians talking unchallenged bollocks on broadcast media and the public either shrugging or putting their fingers in their ears. https://t.co/S62cqyDH6N

Boris Johnson knows more about cars than the Head of Jaguar Land Rover.

One Twitter user has an interesting theory.
Boris Johnson thinks he’s an expert on the car industry because his first wife was an Allegra and his second was a Marina.
