Fiona Bruce wouldn’t let this Tory MP off the hook – 14 delighted reactions
There’s a new figure at the helm of BBC’s flagship political show, Question Time – journalist and TV presenter, Fiona Bruce. On her first outing, she’s set a strong tone by pressing panellists for answers and pulling them up on factual errors, but many see her best moment as this exchange with Conservative MP James Cleverly.
James Cleverly is wishing David Dimbleby would return. Fiona Bruce is tearing him apart #BBCQT

#JamesCleverly cheered in parliament when emergency services workers wages were capped below inflation. He's not cheering now. #FionaBruce off the leash.. https://t.co/mIhfi44Tpu

WATCH: Tory MP @JamesCleverly makes a complete and utter prat of himself on BBC Question Time. He struggled to answer the question about his ‘Plan B’ for Brexit, then tried attacking Labour instead

I can’t recall a more disastrous #bbcqt than currently being experienced by both James Cleverly and Emily Thornberry. They’re both being openly laughed at by the audience. Also: great chairing by Fiona Bruce.

Just watched Fiona Bruce’s first Question Time. We all know politicians can be total bullshitters. It was still great to see a BBC host pointing it out to their faces though. #bbcqt
