David Baddiel said this about socks and it started a lovely thread about the joys of ageing
David Baddiel’s not finding it as easy as he used to putting on his socks in the morning.
In fact, it’s getting so bad he was moved to share it on Twitter.
Question from a middle-aged man to any somewhat older men out there: just how much *more* difficult is putting on socks going to get?

In his book ‘A Kentish Lad’, Frank Muir summed up getting older perfectly, I’ll paraphrase.. ‘One should never bend down to tie one’s shoe without first making sure there is a piece of furniture nearby to help one get back up again..’. Or something along those lines!

Not being able to see any more is indeed a bit of a problem. Or to be more precise, not being able to see in any light that is less than that provided by sitting to read an inch away from Wembley Stadium-size floodlights.
