This bride sent out a wedding dress code based on guests’ weight and it only got worse when someone shared it on Reddit
If you’re invited to a wedding then it’s always helpful if the invite includes a few lines about what you’re expected to wear.
Not only helpful, it’s the done thing, in fact.
Except, well, not everyone expects to be told what to wear depending on how much you weigh. As this bride did in a dress code shared on Reddit which went viral because, well, have a read for yourself.
People weren’t entirely sure exactly what was the ‘incredible visual effect’ she was trying to create with that colour scheme, although one Reddit user had a guess.
‘Is the “incredible visual effect” the bride is trying to create with a green, orange, purple, black, red and camo colour scheme a seizure?’
Just when you think it couldn’t get any worse/better, the bride found out someone had shared her demands and came up with a cracker of a response on Facebook which, er, also went viral.
‘I promise, as long as you’re innocent, you have nothing to worry about.
‘I highly suggest whoever did this just told me. I won’t retaliate, I will simply cut all ties and communication with you (and talk shit about you for a long, long time). If you have any information about who violated my trust and my wedding planning, I will give you $100.
‘My husband and I are certified spiritual healers with over ten years of experience. You all know this. Our wedding colours, fabrics and intimate synchronised dance are something we hold very dear to our hearts.’
And it didn’t end there, as highlighted by the good people of Bored Panda.
Unfortunately our invite was lost in the post.
