A musician had the perfect response to someone expecting them to play for exposure
The practice of asking artists to give their time, talent and products in exchange for exposure rather than payment is an ongoing theme in the creative world, but that doesn’t mean anyone has to accept it. When a restaurant offered a less-than-ideal opening for musicians, one gave them the perfect response.
This was the advert posted by the restaurant.
We don’t know how many replies they got, but we’re pretty sure this must have been the best.
It’s a brilliant example of turning the tables, but when it was posted on Reddit, there were mixed reactions.
