This Strictly Come Dancing/I’m a Celebrity mash-up is the earworm of the day
Even if you don’t watch Strictly Come Dancing, it’s likely that you’d recognise the music, but you’ve probably never realised it works with the words “I’m a Celebrity; Get Me Out of Here” as lyrics. Comedy writer and musician, Dave Cribb did, though.
Today I discovered that the title of I’m A Celeb fits perfectly over the theme tune to Strictly. You’re very welcome. pic.twitter.com/nFAcK6bBP4

Let’s face it, it’s not a natural fit, but Dave has made it work and we’re grateful we didn’t have to do the leg work. He may have had that in mind when he clarified with this comment.
For the pedants amongst you (I’m looking at you @janinegibson and @gregjames), please accept the following alternative caption to my video.
“I have done a new theme tune for I’m a Celeb which I think you’ll enjoy”.

The rewrite has attracted some impressive attention.

Warning! Do not watch this if you ever want to be able to watch the #Strictly opening titles without singing along. https://t.co/NZmvw4dSYP

A Twitter user named Brian C suggested this.
Funnily enough, they are the exact lyrics to the SCD theme tune based on the views of many a "celebrity" who have appeared on the show. The sentiment fits perfectly.

We couldn’t possibly comment.
