This old Rik Mayall sketch is going viral because it sounds so much like a Boris Johnson Brexit speech
First came that old Fry and Laurie sketch that went viral because it basically summed up Brexit.
Now people are sharing this Alan B’Stard speech from the 1980s because it sounds just like Boris Johnson, Jacob Rees-Mogg or any other Brexit loving politician you care to think of.
Have a watch for yourself.
Spookily prophetic words from Alan B’Stard. Here he is in the late 1980’s giving a froth at mouth speech that is straight out of the ERG hard Brexiter playbook.pic.twitter.com/rJoEKWIRqS

Spot on, Rik Mayall! And another reminder of how much we miss him. Here’s what people made of it online.
Fuck me, this is Rik Mayall literally being Boris Johnson/Jacob Rees-Mogg. https://t.co/DbRVxI5xen
