Funniest (and most perfectly timed) penalty save you will ever see
Someone shared the video of this penalty kick with the Guardian’s football writer Barry Glendenning and we’re very glad we did.
@bglendenning just wondering what the rule book says on this one…. pic.twitter.com/2kOgUMzXwt

The good news is not only was the dog fine, it’s now got its own agent.

Seriously though, what should the referee have done?
Obviously he moved before the ball was struck. Yellow card and retake the penalty.

Great save, but went with the wrong paw.

Foreign object interferes with play. Dachshunds are German, right?

Ref got dogs abuse for disallowing it.
Would have given them the lead.
That was ruff on the penalty taker.
