Tory MP Nadine Dorries really did make this complaint about Theresa May’s Brexit deal – our favourite responses online
Tory MP Nadine Dorries has taken issue with the Brexit deal negotiated by Theresa May. No surprise there, you might think, except people were taken aback by what Dorries was unhappy about.
Have a watch for yourself.

Nadine, I say this with genuine admiration. I did not think you could sound any more ill-informed or self-contradictory than you already have. But you have surpassed yourself. I would laugh but if its true we get the representatives we deserve then we are in deep trouble.

Nadine Dorries seems to imply that there's another Brexit where we get MEPs and Comnissioners. It's so incredibly off the scale stupid. https://t.co/G4fq5Ab9FJ

Has somebody compiled a list of unexpected things learned as a result of Brexit? You know, like:
* The Dover-Calais route is quite important for U.K. trade (discovered by Dominic Raab)
* Being out of the EU means having no MEPs (discovered by Nadine Dorries)— Conservative Press Orifice (@lancewalton) November 17, 2018

Jokes aside, this is a major problem with our electoral system. Safe seats mean a bin bag with a face on would win in constituencies like Dorries’ so there’s no weeding out of dangerously dim bulbs. https://t.co/TybUDkTh1K
