You won’t believe the level of detail on this Freddie Mercury sculpture
If you only saw the finished verdict of this miniature sculpture of Freddie Mercury, you’d be pretty impressed by the likeness, particularly as it’s only 18cm tall.
However, when you watch how the model was created, you realise that the quest for accuracy goes way beyond what you might expect. Watch this.
The artist, Juliana LePine, creates both realistic models and caricatures, but they all begin with a skeleton and are built up with the most meticulous care, resulting in amazingly accurate models. Check out some more of her work.
