If you haven’t seen the BBC documentary about what Neanderthals really sounded like – or even if you have – this is very much worth two minutes of your time.
It’s vocal organs coach Patsy Rodenburg and a very enthusiastic chap called Elliot who were tasked with recreating what they really sounded like.
And the result was probably the most entertaining TV you’ll see this week. If not necessarily for the reasons they were hoping for.
