A History slide about the first man in space led to a really disturbing internet thread
When someone shared a thought-provoking slide from a History class, they may have hoped to get people to engage more with humankind’s achievements or to read more widely. They probably didn’t see this weird conversation coming at all.
The picture collected over 2000 comments within hours of posting on Reddit but one particular thread went off at a tangent.
Two questions arise from this:
