This bust of Mo Salah looks like everyone apart from him – the 15 most hilarious comments
Liverpool and Egypt’s star striker, Mo Salah, has been honoured with the Premier League’s Golden Boot, the PFA Players’ Player of the Year Award, the African Player of the Year and much more, but he now has a new honour to add to the list – a sculpture of him on display in Egypt.
Here it is.
And here’s the moment on which it was based.
The piece, by Egyptian artist Mai Abdel Allah, was unveiled at Egypt’s youth forum, with its creator trumpeting Mo Salah as a great example for the youth of the country, whilst admitting that she wasn’t entirely happy with the result she had achieved. She shouldn’t sell herself short, as the statue has brought happiness to many – via the gift of laughter.
