How Arron Banks talks to this C4 News reporter is more revealing than any interview
Arron Banks, the Leave.EU founder who is the subject of a police probe into claims he was not the ‘true source’ of the £8m he loaned to the Brexit campaign, was on BBC1’s Andrew Marr show and not everyone was happy with how it went.
This clip of how the businessman reacted when he was approached by Channel 4 News might in fact tell you more about the man than the Marr encounter did. It really is 107 seconds very well spent.
This is what happened when we asked Arron Banks if he would appear on Channel 4 News to answer questions over Brexit funds and claims of misleading MPs. pic.twitter.com/zrvFDsqyDx

Yep, we think that probably nails him. These people certainly thought so.
Brilliant 'door-step' of Arron Banks by Fatima Manji. When the message gets hot..Banks attacks the messenger : https://t.co/c2OBgtxtwf

Deeply unpleasant and patronising by Banks to an excellent reporter https://t.co/237uzzh7MB

In many ways this was more revealing than the Marr interview. https://t.co/qc1PDXqJqY

The hand on the reporter's shoulder. Ugh. Patronising the reporter by comparing her to a white male colleague. We see you, Banks. We see you fully. We also hear you, perspiring audibly. Rattled. You're going to jail, unless you manage to fall off a yacht before your trial. https://t.co/8owxJSzCFy

Most telling interview of the day is this by @fatimamanji. She's calm, polite and professional. Banks is odious https://t.co/LLSpE0znes

Best argument I've seen for the fact that Channel 4 News does its job properly. https://t.co/25BhzkksGb

Arron Banks is clearly very scared indeed of Channel 4 news. Spread the word. https://t.co/vxejxTfZzK
