Nightmare mum tries to get French lessons on the cheap and is brilliantly owned

Some people seem to want something for nothing – or next to nothing. It’s particularly true in the creative arts, where craftspeople and performers are often expected to give up their time, skills and materials for “exposure”, but it seems it’s also true in the education world. In this exchange, someone tries to drive down the price of French lessons to a very unreasonable level – and throws in some racist overtones for free.

In a post shared on Reddit, language tutor Anna Noblesse’s screenshots show a fairly innocuous enquiry descend to bullying and threats.

Unhappy with the already discounted rate offered, the prospective customer made a far lower suggestion.

Things went further downhill when it emerged that the tutor is Russian, not French.

It didn’t prevent her from continuing to try and drive the price down.

Including some renewed warnings and threats about the danger of upsetting her boss.

Gratifyingly, Anna refused to budge from her original position.

There was understandable indignation at the woman’s behaviour.
