Twitter might be introducing an edit button and everybody’s having a meltdown
For years, Twitter has been neatly divided between those who want to be able to edit a tweet after sending it and those who don’t want that option to be available, arguing that it could be used to make it seem as though people had interacted positively with something unpleasant or even criminal. So far, there’s been no sign of it happening, but when celebrity make-up artist, Jeffree Star, tweeted about it, Twitter responded.
Dear Twitter, we need an edit button on our tweets. – Sincerely, everyone.

Twitter, stop ruining Twitter. An edit function is the second worst idea you’ve ever had, just behind letting Nazis run around like they own the place. https://t.co/2ejM0GHNvX
