The photo was taken by Redditor minarosli, and shared with the heading “I took a candid pic of my dog at the park and it’s basically the dog version of this meme”, complete with a picture of the original version to show the similarity.

The replies have been on point.

One Redditor felt the little dog was less a romantic possibility and more of a snack.
