Donald Trump had a question for the pastor who just blessed him and it tells you all you need to know
Here’s Donald Trump being blessed by Andrew Brunson, the American pastor freed from prison in Turkey last week.
Brunson grasped Trump’s shoulder and asked God to grant the president ‘supernatural wisdom’. And here’s what Trump asked in return, speaking to Brunson and his wife Norine, who accompanied him to the White House.
Pastor Brunson kneels and prays with Trump.
After the prayer, Trump says, "Can I ask you one question? Who did you vote for?" (via Fox) pic.twitter.com/85dlXShHFk

And here’s what people made of it.
Brunson was already imprisoned in Turkey on Election Day 2016, so it’s unlikely that he voted for anyone. https://t.co/OFj8fL9bhu

I know it’s about the 85th worst thing he’ll do this week, but this is so unbelievably inappropriate https://t.co/pTwePG0Tb4

Odd, how evangelicals preach about the anti-christ, then when he shows up, they vote for him.

How could he vote if he was in prison for 2 years and has lived in Turkey for over a decade? What an ignorant question.

Of course it is, but look at who asked it.

This is a clear violation of the separation of church and state. I guess it is time for everyone to subscribe to the evangelical bullshit. Eventually, they will have the authority to start burning people alive again. Wake up, Americans! Democracy is being murdered. #TheResistance

Trump to this Evangelist – 'I let you out so you could vote for me and tell all your followers they must do the same'.
