Everyone loved Jodie Whittaker in Doctor Who but there was one bit everyone loved best
The reviews are in – well, lots of them are – and the overwhelming majority of people seemed to love Jodie Whittaker as the first female Doctor in Doctor Who.
This one pretty much nails it.
Yep they nailed it.
Whittaker: Fucking brilliant
Old school theme tune: YES
Casting: Brilliant
Direction: Wonderful
Soundtrack: Yes
Annoys bellends: oh my yes#DoctorWho— TechnicallyRon (@TechnicallyRon) October 7, 2018
But there was one bit of Sunday night’s first episode that everyone seemed to love more than anything else, and these tweets tell the story.
"So we are setting Dr Who in the north, to show the good natured diverse range of people that make the UK great"
"Yes but at one point a drunk northerner should throw a kebab at an alien"
"Oh fuck yes"#DoctorWho— TechnicallyRon (@TechnicallyRon) October 7, 2018
Genuinely how all northern people would actually react to an alien #DoctorWho pic.twitter.com/V7F45XOg7f

The guy throwing the salad at the alien off his kebab is so Sheffield #doctorwho

Some people say #doctorwho isn't realistic, but a drunken northerner flinging his takeaway salad at a guy in fancy dress is absolutely spot on.
