McFadden’s Cold War did the ‘festival of Brexit’ and it feels like its Sgt Pepper moment
You’ll probably know the fabulous McFadden’s Cold War Twitter account, which uses photo editing and a dark sense of humour to create brilliantly surreal scenes featuring former EastEnders actor Steve McFadden and a host of other politicians and celebrities.
Now it’s done the ‘festival of Brexit Britain’ and it feels like its Sgt Pepper moment. Take a look at this thing of beauty.

Jay Kay grooving his way into the Coldwar community. Rupert Murdoch looking baffled at the world that surrounds him. Big Sam with his eyes on the prize. This is glorious

Oh. My. Word. This is quite possibly the most hilariously compelling image I have ever gazed upon – a masterpiece – a Peter Blake on nitrous oxide. Sergeant McFadden, I salute you.
