Arch Brexiter and failed parliamentary candidate, Nigel Farage, faced Tony Blair’s former spin doctor, Alastair Campbell in the Good Morning Britain studio and was asked why he hadn’t produced a comprehensive plan for Brexit. Goaded into a response, Farage claimed that he could produce a simple trade deal, but that the government doesn’t want to discuss it with him – so he won’t write it.
The pro-EU magazine, The New European, published an account of the exchange.

People were understandably sceptical, given that an entire department of government dedicated to solving the problem has failed to produce a workable solution. The reactions were more than a little scathing.
