Tony Robinson pitched an idea for a new spy series and it’ll probably run and run – plus 11 bonus replies
Actor Tony Robinson, host of Time Team and immortalised as the character of Baldrick in Blackadder, was inspired by the news surrounding the two Russians accused of the Salisbury poisonings to suggest a new TV series with a similar theme.
I’m currently pitching a series to Channel 5 where Mr Petrov and Mr Boshirov take us round some of Britain’s greatest monuments. It’s to be called ‘ I Spy With My Little Eye’. I think it could be as big a Time Team.
