Paul McCartney talked about wanking with John Lennon and all these Beatles puns came at once
When Paul McCartney sat down for an in-depth chat with GQ to promote his new album, he might not have hoped it would be the wanking anecdote that went viral.
Except it was.

Here’s a bit of what he had to say.
“What it was, was over at John’s house, and it was just a group of us. And instead of just getting roaring drunk and partying — I don’t even know if we were staying over or anything — we were all just in these chairs, and the lights were out, and somebody started masturbating, so we all did.
“We were just, ‘Brigitte Bardot!’ ‘Whoo!’ and then everyone would thrash a bit more. I think it was John sort of said, ‘Winston Churchill!’”
As sure as night follows day, or goodbye follows hello, it got everyone coming up with wanking related Beatles songs (and lyrics) and here are our favourites.
