Gender reveal parties can be a bit tacky – but this one’s completely terrifying
The practice of having a party in which the perceived gender of an unborn baby is revealed has crept across the Atlantic from America. Usually, something either pink or blue is unveiled, such as balloons from inside a box or sweets at the centre of a cake. This clip of a gender-reveal party shows something a little more spectacular than balloons – and a lot more alarming.

Obviously, it’s not for us to pass comment on whether a couple choose to announce their baby’s sex via a giant inflatable horror show, but we have to allow Twitter to have its say.
