Why aren’t there any men on the programme? Do we not matter any more ?#PoliticsLive

Because politics has and too often is dominated by men – 100 years since some women won the right to vote and a brand new politics show having its inaugural episode fronted by an all-female panel… some would say progress ♀️

I am looking forward to the day when I do not mind if I see an all male panel, because I know it does not mean women are discriminated against and it just happened. But we are not there yet, so I am happy when I see an all women one for once.

Well said @AlessandraAster and @andrew_h0706
If we have all women panels from now for the next three hundred years then one might have cause for complaint. Until then, it’s justified on the basis we’re still levelling the playing field— Kate Bex QC (@K80bex) 3 September 2018

I for one am appalled that the BBC are using the former Home Sec, Shadow Foreign Sec, and a raft of political journalists to discuss politics. Clearly they’ve just been looking for a group of women who are in no way qualified to discuss the matters of the day…
