Daft Limmy said this about Barry Chuckle and the BBC didn’t get the joke

Anyone who knows Daft Limmy – or goes on Twitter whenever anyone famous dies – will know that he has a habit of tweeting something like this.

Except it turns out whoever wrote the BBC’s news story about the late, great Barry Chuckle, who has died aged 73, isn’t a Daft Limmy fan.

It’s not the first time someone’s taken a Daft Limmy tribute seriously. Sky News did this when Peter Stringfellow died.

Still, it could have been worse. It could have been the Daily Mail.

Terry Pratchett died in 2015.
