Jeremy Hunt called his Chinese wife Japanese and these are the only responses you need

Here’s new foreign secretary Jeremy Hunt trying to impress the watching world on his first official visit to China by referring to his Japanese wife.

He then remembered that she’s Chinese.

Swapping small talk with the Chinese foreign minister, Hunt sought to demonstrate his family ties to China.

“My wife is Japanese – my wife is Chinese. Sorry, that’s a terrible mistake to make.”
