Someone’s trying to persuade Donald Trump’s ghostwriter that Donald Trump wrote his books
The man who was responsible for ghostwriting Donald Trump’s book, The Art of the Deal, has spoken out about the so-called president.
Tony Schwartz said he doesn’t think Trump reads books, let alone be able to write one.
Except lots of people are staying by Trump, as you’d probably expect, including this person trying to persuade Donald Trump’s ghostwriter that, really, it was Donald Trump wot wrote his books.
Bold move, to argue that Donald Trump wrote his own book when you're speaking to the man who wrote Donald Trump's book. pic.twitter.com/idLfxzPxrt

Or, to put it another way.
The quintessential Twitter exchange: an anonymous Trump fan account telling the ghostwriter of Trump's The Art of the Deal that he should try reading Trump's The Art of the Deal pic.twitter.com/SkryMnDMje

Schwartz spoke out after Trump tweeted this.
After having written many best selling books, and somewhat priding myself on my ability to write, it should be noted that the Fake News constantly likes to pore over my tweets looking for a mistake. I capitalize certain words only for emphasis, not b/c they should be capitalized!

Although that was his second attempt to get it right. This is what he wrote first.
It’s 2018 in a nutshell.
In fact, even better than that: an anonymous Trump fan account telling the ghostwriter of Trump’s The Art of the Deal that Trump’s The Art of the Deal can’t have been ghostwritten because it sounds exactly like Trump

Final word goes to Schwartz.
“Trump didn’t write a word of The Art of the Deal and I doubt he wrote a word of any of the other books that carry his name as an author. He doesn’t read books and he doesn’t write them.”
