This group of Mexican fans had to leave one of their buddies behind but they didn’t want him to think they’d forgotten about him.
So they did this.
Here’s what the person who posted the picture on Reddit, sidx64, had to say about it:

But it turns out there might be a very good reason why she didn’t let him go.
They actually “drove” from Mexico to Russia. Its quite a tale, they all quit their jobs for this trip and used their savings, maybe that’s one of the reasons the wife didn’t let him go
And here’s a little bit from the news story about them.
Six men from Durango that have decided to venture to the FIFA World Cup 2018 on board of La Bendición, a bus that they modified and adapted with Mexican symbols and ornaments, have just arrived in Moscow, Russia.
Through their Facebook page, “Ingue Su Matrushka,” (Ef their Matrushkas) the six friends have documented their travels through the old continent, wearing Mexican sombreros and wrestler masks. Their main challenge was to get from Mexico to Russia in a land transport.
Sombreros off to them. Seriously.
