No-one bangs on about the importance of respecting the national anthem more than Donald Trump.
So much so that the so-called president has made it compulsory for everyone to join in patriotic singalongs at the start of American Football matches, that kind of thing.
So there was no way Trump wasn’t going to know the words to Irving Berlin’s patriotic ditty, God Bless America, at a White House get together to celebrate all things American?
