The reality of this hotel pool didn’t quite live up to the brochure
We’ve all had that sinking feeling when you arrive at your hotel and it doesn’t quite live up to the promise of the promotional material.
Except, well, we don’t think we’ve ever sunk this low.
This was how the pool was advertised.
And this – the dread reality.
From infinity pool to infinitely disappointing.

The woman who posted the pictures spoke to Buzzfeed and appropriate enough the place she stayed in was called Hotel Curious.
As in killed the cat.
Fair play to the booking people who got in touch online.
Hi Jenny, our support team can definitely look into this and help you with a complaint. We recommend sending the photos to [email protected], including your confirmation number. Our team will get back to you as soon as is possible.

There’s a lesson there somewhere.
This is why I search the hotel by location or hashtag on IG and look through visitor photos

also i look at google maps reviews too – often find visitor photos etc there.
