The only homework kids need from their teacher before sitting their exams
If you’ve got kids doing their SATS right now – or if you’ve ever sat an exam yourself (think that covers everyone) then this is the note you’d most like to read from your teacher.
This, given to my daughter and her y6 classmates ahead of Sats on Monday, is a delight. Wish all teachers prepared for exams like he @AllSaintsBheath pic.twitter.com/hpwvnM5REY

The note went viral after it was shared by Jane Martinson on social media and here are our favourite responses.
1.
That ‘s amazing Jane. Why can’t all teachers be like that? My daughter’s head told them yesterday that if any of them were ill next week for SATS then she would personally come to their home and drag them out of bed. I mean really?

This is the problem with our education system in a nutshell – trying to take the pressure off – the whole point of exams is to put the pressure ON

You seem nice Clive

No, the point of tests and exams is to find out how much kids know and how much they can show that they know. Stressing kids out doesn’t help them deliver. This teacher sounds wonderful to me.

So none of us in the real world (I mean wealth creation not administration) ever work and need to be prepared to work in stressful situation then ?

Others noticed the name of the person who is ‘in charge of worrying’ according to the last bit of the note.

Turns out other schools had a similar idea.
