Lord Sugar didn’t get the joke and neither did his followers and they’re all fired
Alan Sugar’s not happy with Taylor Swift after he spotted this story online and took to Twitter to vent his displeasure.
Eh I don’t get this . Can someone explain is she making a statement or what ? https://t.co/C0zBVIcuQs

If it wasn’t already obvious enough that it was a spoof – just look at it – then just a slightly closer inspection of the ‘news’ story would reap rewards.
Except not only did Lord Sugar not get it. Check out some of these replies to his tweet.

It defies me, Lord Sugar! I can only say that if there’s some supportive message in there, it’s lost on me! Thoroughly tasteless. Corbyn would probably like it.

With that young lady I wouldn’t know. But I’ve got better things to do and look at that. As always attention is the game. And she’s getting it.

About half the replies thinking it’s real, too. I suppose that new satirical news source The Onion just hasn’t established itself yet. 😐
