The Daily Mail used this person’s pictures without permission so they did this

The Daily Mail was interested in a new episode of Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror being filmed in south London which involved lots of 1980s shopfronts.

So they wrote a story all about it and lifted this person’s pictures from Twitter without asking permission, so they did this (look out for the Twitter name halfway down).

Here’s what someone who knows them told B3ta.com.

The past week I’ve been spearheading the investigations into the Black Mirror filming going on in Croydon at the moment. I’ve been posting in /r/BlackMirror on Reddit.

One of my reddit chums got some great pictures, as did her boyfriend. The DM decided to use their tweets in the article… to which the boyfriend took offence.

The link might change, but I captured a screenshot in all its glory

And this person had a very satisfying reply when they were approached by the Mail about the same story.

UPDATE

Here’s the person who changed their Twitter name, @CosmicScale who is asking for £1,050 for use of his images. More power to his elbow …
