Funniest moment of Oscars was Guillermo del Toro double checking he’d actually won
Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway were asked back to present the best picture Oscar despite – or because of – the hilarious balls-up at last year’s ceremony that saw the wrong film briefly crowned with the top prize.
And it resulted in the funniest moment of this year’s bash when director Guillermo del Toro, who won best picture for Shape of Water, asked Warren Beatty if he could look at the envelope to double check he had won.
