Piers Morgan trolled his BBC breakfast rival and it didn’t end well
Piers Morgan was back on Good Morning Britain today – what do you mean you didn’t know he’d been away? – and he had the latest in a long line of pops at his BBC breakfast rival, Dan Walker.
To be fair, this one was half decent.
Imagine presenting a breakfast show where even your own staff have no clue who you are.. 😂😂 pic.twitter.com/uCmCsCS4aN

Walker wasn’t taking it lied down though, and turned to the TV ratings for inspiration.
Imagine presenting a breakfast show where your replacement gets more viewers than you 😂
Mon 5th Feb (your last Monday) average GMB audience 664,000
Mon 12th Feb (1st one without you) 703,000#Awkward #BringBackBen #TheGoodShephard #Tears4Piers
Nice to have you back 🤣 https://t.co/s4FtMytoVT— Dan Walker (@mrdanwalker) February 26, 2018
Ouch.
Morgan hasn’t replied yet, which means he’s either too upset by Arsenal’s cup final defeat or he really hasn’t got anything left in the locker.
The pair have a history of this sort of thing.
Just got last week’s ratings in @mrdanwalker @louiseminchin? #GMBsurge pic.twitter.com/Dsu8781cKT

Just checked… still more than double yours. Noticed that ITVs viewing figures actually go up when you finish 😂 #Facts https://t.co/2exP0pCXZL
