This flick through the Brit awards mag of 25 years ago is a glimpse into another world
Depending on your age this is one helluva nostalgia trip or it’s like science fiction, but in reverse.
Over on Twitter, Peter Robinson found a Brit awards magazine from 1993 and he tweeted out the highlights – such as they are – ahead of tonight’s ceremony.
Lovely stuff.

Obviously CDs were still a thing at that point. I really like this WEA ad. pic.twitter.com/antCb4RO1I

Also, vinyl was still a thing, before it stopped being a thing then became a thing again. Who wouldn’t want this amazing record bag? pic.twitter.com/Nu2s7A0Jbc

Also, this being 1993, 1.5m people were still buying 15m albums a year BY POST. Here’s Britannia Music Club’s MD talking about their great new technology. pic.twitter.com/8EGYnyEgM2
