People want to buy Katie Hopkins £1m home and give it to asylum seekers
A crowdfunding page has been set up to raise the money to buy Katie Hopkins’ £1m home and give it to asylum seekers.
The former Apprentice contestant turned former Daily Mail columnist has been forced to put her property up for sale after losing a libel case against food writer and poverty campaigner, Jack Monroe.
Couldn’t happen to a nicer person.

Here’s what they say.
We all know Hopkins’s disgusting views on immigrants and refugees, so the plan my good people, is to buy Katie Hopkins family home and use it to either house refugees or asylum seekers.
This would be a great victory for the people of the UK, because as we all know, Hopkins is a vile bigot who has had far too much air time and drastically needs taking down a peg or two.
So far more than 500 people have donated and it has been shared 5,000 times on Facebook, raising more than £6,000. Still quite a long way to go though.
People had a few salient points to make online.
Two points I would raise in relation to this:
1. Katie Hopkins won't care a jot if her former home is used to house immigrants, she'll be grateful she sold her home.
2. She's putting her house up for sale to settle court costs, buying her house helps her – let her go bankrupt.— Wayne Smith #FBPE (@waynesmith1971) January 22, 2018
No wait until she moves and buy the house next to her.

Yes. Let's give her a million quid. That'll learn her.

UPDATE
The Hopkins property, which looks uncannily like the sort of house the Apprentice candidates stay in, has been sold subject to contract.
So it’s either not going to happen, or they’ve raised the money quicker than they could ever have imagined.
