The Sun took a swipe at the new tabloid Guardian and people had the perfect response
Here’s the Sun welcoming the new tabloid Guardian which launched today.
To which there are many possible answers, but this might be our favourite.
The Sun lost £24m last year and £68m the year before.
A large reason for this is it’s still paying out millions in connection to phone hacking.
So maybe can it with the petty leader columns, eh? https://t.co/nZJTg2KEt4

‘Exclusive, rip-roaring stories’ like the phone-hacking scandal, presumably…?

The Sun is guilty of far worse crimes but revelling in the financial troubles of another newspaper is pretty poor. pic.twitter.com/JGladbZ7pg

The Sun’s showbiz editor Dan Wootton also joined in.
