The replies to this are almost worth the price of Brexit alone
Pro-Brexit campaigners thought it would be a good idea to present the EU’s chief negotiator Michel Barnier with a basket of British goods.
A lovely gesture, and what better way to impress a Frenchman by giving him a load of English cheese (seem to remember they tried this in The Apprentice a while back).
