Donald Trump tries to show he’s intelligent, ends up doing the exact opposite
This could be our favourite Trump clip yet but, let’s face it, there’s been a lot of them.

‘I called [him] La David right from the beginning. Just so you understand they put a chart in front , La David, it says La David Johnson.’
Not quite sure what this means – is the president saying they put a chart in front of him to help him get the name right? Well, the army sergeant’s widow DID say he had problems remembering his name.
‘One of the great memories of all time.’
Sounds like it.
At this point if you think this fucking idiot was still a good idea you don't belong on this fucking planet. https://t.co/jQmIkbzXOP

And here’s another Trump clip from today which is almost as good/terrible.
President Trump: "I think the press makes me more uncivil than I am… I went to an Ivy League college… I'm a very intelligent person." pic.twitter.com/7TAg6RFiCM

One of the first signs of an intelligent person – they keep having to tell you how intelligent they are.
