The New Zealand Police should probably give internet memes a miss
Social media – some police forces are good at it – The New Zealand Police using a gif from The Office to talk about road deaths… not so much.
The NZ police were accused of insensitivity and “making light” of tragedy, and the tweet was swiftly deleted – they also issued an apology.
