These astronauts had some wonderful responses to a rapper who thinks the Earth is flat
Last month Rapper B.o.B started a GoFundMe campaign to raise a million dollars to “launch one, if not multiple, satellites into space,” to prove the Earth is round and not, as he currently believes, flat.
The cities in the background are approx. 16miles apart… where is the curve ? please explain this pic.twitter.com/YCJVBdOWX7

Luckily for him, a number of astronauts were happy to save him both time and money – step forward former Space Shuttle pilot and commander of the International Space Station, Terry Virts.
I can save BoB a lot of money- The Earth is round. I flew around it. https://t.co/F7qAovPEng @bobatl @BBCWorld

Buzz Aldrin, the second man on the moon, also added some thoughts.
I did too. It's called an orbit: the curved path of a celestial object around a star, planet, or moon. https://t.co/h8GQJadfxD

Former Space Shuttle mission commander Scott Kelly provided a video.
Show you the curve? Here you go @bobatl! One full orbit around Earth. Maybe donate funds raised to #PuertoRicoRelief https://t.co/bhJSXfwYXL pic.twitter.com/rFAysS2clc

It wasn’t just astronauts, other people with brains also helped out B.o.B.
@bobatl 16 miles is 0.06% of the earth's circumference, you can't expect to see the curvature of earth in that distance

Not everyone was so quick to ridicule.
.@bobatl I thought this guy was high, then I found the compelling evidence. SHIT. pic.twitter.com/OpjE6q641A

All this negativity (and logic) wasn’t enough to stop B.o.B’s plan, which certainly isn’t a scam.
