Norwegian Air takes the piss out of American culture to sell bargain flights to America

Norwegian Air’s latest ad campaign takes the piss out of American culture, specifically the cliché of the doughnut chomping cop.

We’re impressed that they got Kevin James from Paul Blart: Mall Cop to feature in the ad.

The expression on the face of the partner of the pasty-inhaling cop pretty much says it all.

Some were offended – not at the stereotype of American culture – but at how lightly the police are treated.

It’s not the first time Norwegian Air has courted controversy, last year they used the Brangelina split in order to advertise flights.
