The internet is less than thrilled with the news of an all-female Lord of the Flies remake
A film adaptation of William Golding’s 1954 novel Lord of the Flies has been announced with an all-female cast that the (male) writers/directors say will “help people see the story anew.” The internet wasn’t convinced.
The all-female Lord of the Flies will just be a group of young women apologizing to each other over and over till everyone is dead.

An all women remake of Lord of the Flies makes no sense because… the plot of that book wouldn't happen with all women.

Looking forward to the all-girl adaptation of Lord of the Flies where they just work together and get off that island.
