Spotted: Piers Morgan emerging from Donald Trump’s backside

He has been Donald Trump’s defender in chief for as long as we can remember. But after months of standing up for his good buddy in the White House, even Piers Morgan can no longer stick by the so-called president.

The scales belatedly fell from Morgan’s eyes after Trump’s extraordinary press conference in which he defended far-right marchers and took aim at the “very, very violent” alt-left.

“You had people that were very fine people on both sides.”

Which got people thinking.

Morgan’s had lots of Twitter spats with people over Trump, most memorably Gary Lineker …

… and JK Rowling.

Here was Morgan tweeting about Trump just a few days ago.

At the top of Morgan’s Twitter feed is a picture of him and Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger.

Maybe it needs a tweak.
